Property Access and Customer Responsibilities

Customers are responsible for providing accurate information about the property, requested work, access points, gates, driveways, obstacles, animals, utilities, underground lines, and any known hazards.

Before work begins, customers should identify or disclose:

Access details: Gates, narrow entries, driveway limits, locked areas

Known hazards:Soft ground, holes, steep slopes, debris, hidden objects

Underground concerns: Utilities, septic systems, water lines, irrigation, cables

Property boundaries: Fence lines, neighbor property, easements, restricted areas

Work goals: What the customer wants cleared, graded, repaired, spread, or delivered

Wayside may decline or pause work if property conditions, access, unclear boundaries, utility concerns, or safety risks create an issue.

Site Conditions, Weather, and Safety

Licensed engineering services

Engineered drainage solutions

Septic work

Utility trenching or utility digging

Foundation engineering

Stump grinding

Large tree removal

Guaranteed drainage fixes

Guaranteed permanent driveway repair

Guaranteed same-day service

Some projects may require specialized contractors, permits, utility marking, engineering, or additional services outside Wayside’s scope.

Firewood Availability, Delivery, and Stacking

Firewood availability can change based on season, supply, weather, demand, and current inventory. Firewood may not always be available in every quantity or wood type.

Firewood delivery may be available within the service area, with delivery pricing based on location, quantity, access, and delivery details. Pickup may also be available by appointment depending on supply and schedule.

Stacking may be included unless the wood needs to be moved a longer distance by wheelbarrow or requires extra handling beyond standard delivery.

Cooking or smoking wood may be available depending on current supply and wood type. Customers should confirm availability before ordering.

Photos, Project Details, and Communication

Photos are encouraged because they help Roy understand the project before scheduling. However, photos may not show every condition, obstacle, access issue, slope, soil problem, drainage issue, or hidden concern.
